A framed collection of 25 hand-coloured copper engravings by naturalist George Edwards(1694-1773),known as 'the father of British ornithology'.

The collection is composed of mammals,reptiles and birds from "A natural history of uncommon birds : and of some other rare and undescribed animals..."Parts I -IV 1743-51.

Framed in ebonised moulded wooden frames. 8 1/2 by 10 inches each.
