Luscious Victorian foiled amethyst and diamond pendant in the Rococo taste.c.1860.
The amethyst is a deep octagonal cushion-cut housed in a gold cut-down setting and framed with rose-cut diamonds in individual box settings. These satellites are connected with decorative C-scrolls.The reverse is reeded in the Georgian taste.
The design and workmanship are of the highest quality.
The pendant is 2cms by 2cms.
