French Rococo brothers c.1760

Delightful pair of portrait miniatures depicting young brothers dressed in the highest fashions of the day,each wearing justaucorps and vestcoats,one in sea-green silk embroidered with silver thread,the other in cerulean blue velvet embroidered with gold thread.Both sporting white lace stocks and fashionable white powdered wigs worn en queue and tied with a black ribbon bow. Set to gold bracelet clasps 1 inch by 1 1/4 inch. Cleverly the clasps have an original larger loop set centrally enabling the portraits to be worn as pendants.French school c.1760,very fine execution in a stippled manner.Perfect condition.
