Georgian Harlequin Pendant

Unusual Georgian agate, gem and paste set harlequin foiled pendant c.1800.

Hard to be certain of how this element started life, possibly a lace pin or part of a necklace of harlequin clusters.

The stones clockwise from the top are:

Zircon, Amethyst, Quartz, Citrine, Garnet, Zircon, Green paste, Zircon, Burma Ruby, Sapphire, Cats eye chrysoberyl, Garnet.

The centre is a dentritic agate.

The setting tests higher than 9 carat gold.

All stones very good condition, only the amethyst has a chip to side but totally stable.
