Look and Remember

Poignant sepia ring with the unusual inclusion of an angel weeping at the foot of the memorial urn,beneath the weeping willow and the legend ‘Look and Remember’.
For Mary Dale who died 9th Jan 1780 aged 40.

Also a later inscription on the back of the bezel for Thomas Houghton who died 15th Dec 1783 aged 47.

Very crisp condition,some enamel loss to back of shank though lettering unworn.
High carat gold,size 8.5.
