Neoclassical Urn Pendant

Octagonal gold Georgian urn pendant c.1790.

Extremely elongated black and white striped enamel swagged plinth and urn set against a deep blue ground.

Much later inscription to reverse simply ‘Franco 25th Jan’y 1884’.

Rare to find this shape in a pendant, more usually seen in rings.
