Fine quality Georgian high carat gold,seed pearl and turquoise enamel heart shaped lacepin c.1820. Plump natural pearls bordering the white and turquoise enamel heart centre.
Pearls immaculate,light surface wear to enamel.
2 cms long.
The lacepin or fichu pin was a popular jewel from the late c18th to mid c19th used to secure the shawl or lace collar.
