Victorian Acorn Earrings
The tiniest Victorian 15 carat gold acorn earrings c.1860.
Acorn and leaf a mere 1.5cms in total.
0.8 grams.
They retain their original textured leafy crown which the acorns sit beneath. The acorn cups are also textured.
Sadly one acorn has been slightly squashed at some point, intact but slightly wider than its twin. Please carefully study the photos for condition.
Acorns were extremely popular motifs in Victorian jewellery symbolising strength, potential, growth and endurance. Acorns are most commonly found in silver, gold, pinchbeck and coral.
