Victorian Silver Shell Vinaigrette Pendant

Extremely rare silver vinaigrette pendant by Sampson Mordan formed as a mussel. Dated 1875.

Interior to shell is silver gilt, the finely pierced grille stamped with the full registration kite mark to identify the piece.
