Unusual Tudor figural silver-gilt ring,the bezel an exhuberant cresting in the form of a plump heart supported by two heraldic rampant lions .The bezel connects to a simple band carved with Tudor Rose bosses. The heart itself is carved one side 'I' and one side 'H' for 'IHS' the Christian monogram for Jesus.Much of the original lemon gilding remains.
Very fine condition.
