Sublime foiled Georgian flat-cut garnet cluster ring c.1760.

Exquisitely cut flat almandine garnets set in silver, to a later 18 carat gold shank.

The colour is electric and the setting almost invisible, indicative of the finest English workshops of the mid eighteenth century.
