Georgian Paste Earrings

Elegant Georgian paste bow and drop earrings.Bows c.1780,drops c.1800.

1.75 inches in length. English in origin.

Black-dot foiled paste,the elongated drops are particularly unusual including peardrop shapes aswell as cushion shapes in a design I have never had before.

The drops are gold backed while the somewhat earlier bow tops all silver set.

Scintillating when worn by candlelight as they were intended.
