15ct gold Georgian foiled Burma ruby and pearl mourning locket pendant with original ruby and pearl bale.c.1820.English in origin.

The tiny central hinged locket contains an ingeniously plaited star in hair.

Length 1.5inches including bale.

Diameter 1inch.

One of the finest and prettiest examples I have seen.
