Sweet little Victorian 15 carat gloved hand pendant c.1840.

The textured gold gloved hand has a frilled cuff and is holding a natural pearl.

Converted from a stickpin.

I/2 inch in length.

The gloved hand became highly fashionable in jewellery as a motif from the 1820s to the 1840s, particularly as clasps for guard chains, but also as stickpins.
