Enamelled oblong plaque bezel with hair locket and shoulders enamelled with foliate acanthus design,inscribed to the interior John Breeks,obt 5 dec 1838 aet 4 yrs.Mint condition. Ring size UK N,US 7.
Born in Warcop, Westmorland, England to Richard Breeks and Elizabeth Wilkinson. The couple had four children all who passed away before Elizabeth the mother who died in 1879,aged 80.A poignant reminder of the brevity of life in the c19th.
