He wears an olive green jacket with a tassell detail,white stock,and powdered wig which appears almost lavender,his queue tied with a black silk ribbon.

Signed with an initial S.

Set to a gold double bracelet clasp.

William Singleton(d.1793) was a pupil of Ozias Humphry and worked in London exhibited at the Society of Artists 1770-1790 and at the R.A.1779-1790.He painted portraits,sketches,miniatures and enamels.His brother Joseph was also a celebrated miniaturist.His neph
