Regency Fob Seal

Charming 15 carat Georgian fob pendant set with an oblong intaglio seal reading ‘il n’y a que cela ‘ ‘There is only this’ or ‘That is all there is’ c.1820.

The enigmatic inscription would suggest the fob would have been a sentimental love token.

The gold openwork mount echoes a popular style of Regency ring shank.
