Snake Fob Seal

Finely chased 15 ct gold Regency snake fob seal set with a bloodstone c.1820.
The body of the fob is unusual in having two snakes, one forming the bale, the other a long spiral to join the base.
The bloodstone is carved with an armorial depicting an arrow entwined with a snake.
