Gorgeous lively magenta pink paste Georgian riviere with eight pear-shaped drops in closed-back gold cut-down settings c.1820. A very similar necklace can be found in the British Museum,Hull Grundy Gift.The vivid pink would have been chosen to imitate highly prized Burma rubies. A very rare colour.Immaculate.
