Weighty and beautifully crafted 18ct gold Victorian snake ring fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1882, with makers mark for Vaughton & Sons(established 1819).

The snake is triple coiled and seems to be sleepily resting. The jeweller has carved a fine line from the eyes which cleverly gives expression and character to the head.

Tiny rose diamonds eyes.
