The most exhuberant, most Rococo of scrolled enamelled mourning bands. The undulating design twists with each section having two c-scrolls attached.The impression is of movement and fluidity.
The ring is in entirely original condition with almost the entire original enamel intact.
It reads ‘Mary Clarke ob 13 Oct 1760 AE 35.
